“We are taking advantage of Dabangg behind Ready. We are not even trying to hide that and are in fact reflecting it in the promos as well,” Co-producer of Ready, Bhushan Kumar said.
Salman Khan too wanted the promos of Ready to convey the Dabangg image. The film has many similarities with Dabangg with respect to Salman’s body language, dialogues and his mannerisms.
It is also heard that the marketing and publicity formula of Ready is along the same lines as that of Dabangg.
Kumar also justified the focus on Salman Khan in the film’s promos. They have intentionally put the promos on Salman Khan’s shoulders. The film stars Salman Khan and Asin in the lead roles.
