Oral Health Care



You can help prevent gum disease by taking good care of your teeth everyday and having regular dental checkups. Here's how to keep your teeth and gums healthy:
  1. Brush your teeth well twice a day: This removes the film of bacterua from the teeth. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush that is in good condition. Toothpastes and mouth rinses containing fluoride strengthen the teeth and help prevent decay.
  2. Clean between your teeth every day: Cleaning between your teeth with floss or interdental cleaners removes bacteria between the teeth, where a toothbrush can't reach.
  3. Eat a balanced diet: Choose a variety of foods from the basic food groups. Limit between-meal snacks.
  4. Visit your dentist every 6 months: It is important to have regular dental checkups, and professiona; cleaning is essential to prevent periodontal diseases.

Step 1 :
 Place your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle against the gums.

Step 2 :
  Move the brush back and forth gently in shot (tooth-wide) strokes. Brush uo for your lower teeth and brush down for your upper teeth.

Step 3 : 
  Brush the outer tooth surfaces, the inner tooth surfaces, and the chewing surfaces of the teeth.
Step 4 :
  Clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth, using a gentle up-and-down stroke.
