It's the day after christmas sale and it's going on today, Black Friday 2. The second Black Friday has after Christmas shoppers scrambling for after Christmas sales for bargains and discount prices and is expected to draw huge crowds.

Even though most people have already exchanged gifts with their love ones, family or friends, there are still some that haven't even purchased one.

The day after Christmas sale was made for them. Retailers like Wal-mart, Kmart and Best Buy, are hoping to boost sluggish holiday numbers with aggressive after Christmas sales.

Online and in-store sales continue to offer steep discounts – between 40 and 80 percent – and clearances on many items including HDTV, jewelry, computers and electronics.

According to ShopperTrak, consumer visits to U.S. retail stores fell by 24 percent the weekend before Christmas and sales slid 5 percent compared with the same period a year ago.

It's desperate times for America's retailers.
