That means the final night of competition on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" moves to 11:05 p.m. Monday on Channel 12.
If you're recording the 90 minutes of "Dancing," you'll want to build in some cushion on either end because football - the Packers-New Orleans Saints game starts at 7:30 - doesn't always end when it's supposed to.
Even though the final night of "Dancing" competition won't be airing live on Milwaukee TV, you'll still be able to vote online after watching the delayed show. Votes will be accepted at abc.com until 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The two-hour finale airs at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Channel 12.
Chances are good that this will be the last time for such a situation.
By next year, with the digital conversion completed, Channel 12 should have a subchannel running, so the Packers and the dancers can air simultaneously.
NO 9 P.M. NEWS: A prime-time Packers game during a sweeps month - the four-week November sweeps period ends Wednesday - means Monday's 9 p.m. newscast on Channel 6 is being pre-empted by a rerun of the Fox affiliate's "Harley 105th Recap Special" from the end of August.
Since a good chunk of the audience will be watching the Packers, dropping a newscast keeps the news ratings from taking a hit.
A DVR ALERT: As long as we're talking about Channel 6's 9 p.m. news, it'll be starting late Tuesday night.
A very special episode of Fox's "House" will run long Tuesday, pushing the start of "Fringe" to 8:08 and pushing back the start of the news to 9:07. Set your DVRs or VCRs accordingly.
