Chrome were one of the best bands of the late 70s and early 80s, mixing raw punk rock ala The Stooges with psychedelic acid, tv samples and sci-fi keyboards. They also incorporate some slower, more avant garde parts that share a thing or two with their colleagues in Pere Ubu. This is their second album, which is very good but not as good as Half Machine Lip Moves.

Easily their finest album. A slightly more experimental take on Alien Soundtracks, but still managing to produce hooks. Lots of krautrock beats and distorted guitars.
