la monte young - theatre of eternal music/black lp/dream house

[Not the actual cover art]. To be honest I'm not even sure if this is one or two albums, or if I've got the right name for it. It's a pretty frustrating task trying to find information about the man's work, particularly this one. Some places it says the first four tracks here make up an album called Poem For Tables, Chairs, Benches, etc, other places it says the last three tracks make up what is supposed to be known as Theatre Of Eternal Music. In the folder I downloaded they're all lumped together with the latter title, so I'm just posting it like that. Please let me know if anyone knows more about this than I do. Anyway, as far as the music is concerned, the album(s?) starts with a soothing 40 minute raga, not unlike the Pandit Pran Nath album posted earlier. The two tracks that follow are my favourites, and I find it hard to believe that they could have been released in 1964. It's basically very intense noise music, supposedly being based on the sounds of chairs and tables being moved around on the floor.

One raga track and one dark "industrial"-sounding drone track.

More or less follows the same pattern as The Black LP, but with noticably clearer sound.
