Step 1: Hydrate
Start by using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, as curly hair tends to get a lot dryer than straight hair. For best shine results on curly hair, try washing every other day so you don’t strip the hair of its natural oils.
Step 2: Prep
Apply a frizz-ease serum or a shine curl-enhancing spray/cream to wet strands. Comb the cream throughout the entire hair using a wide-tooth comb because that will make the cuticle lie a little flatter.
Step 3: Finish and Style
Twist inch-size pieces around your finger, then scrunch the spirals up, shaping individual curls to make them more uniform. Finish off by blow-drying your hair with a diffuser or letting it air-dry to reduce heat damage
