The excellent Roll Over Rover* just released one of the finest batches I think I've ever heard (three tapes, one CDr and one DVDr). They are mostly ambient releases, and I must say that all of them have impressed me a lot on first listens. Curiously, Sean McCann appears to be involved with every single one of these releases in some way or another. This Joseph McNulty tape is probably the one I've enjoyed the most thus far, but I can see myself listening to all of these an awful lot in the coming weeks. If you own a tape deck or a walkman you really owe it to yourself (and to the label and the artists) to head over to their site and just order the entire batch. I can more or less guarantee you you will not be disappointed. If you don't own a tape deck I'm sure the rest will surface on this blog eventually (perhaps sometime after they all sell out, I would imagine...)
