This album, Head Of David's second, is notable for a couple of reasons. First, this was Justin Broadrick's band after he left Napalm Death (imagine leaving Napalm Death in 1986) and before he founded the excellent Godflesh (and later the not-quite-as-excellent Jesu). Secondly, I believe this was one of Steve Albini's very first recording jobs. Which shows, as it sounds a lot like the early Big Black records. And it's quite good. But get Big Black's records first.
