The Steve LeVeille Broadcast

Steve LeVeille has worked in radio for over 25 years and has been with WBZ Radio in Boston since 1991. Since June of 1999 he has hosted "The Steve LeVeille Broadcast" on WBZ from midnight to 5 a.m. weekdays. The call-in program features discussions of current news events, politics and consumer issues with a mix of light topics.

A Boston-area native, Steve began his career at all-news WEEI Boston in 1977 as a news writer and producer. He worked for ABC News in New York as an assignment editor and writer from 1980 to 1986. In addition to hosting talk shows on WBZ in the 1990s, Steve worked for Monitor Radio as a program host and news anchor on nationally and internationally broadcast programs and was also heard frequently as a news anchor on WBUR Boston.

Of the awards he has won for excellence in broadcasting Steve's favorite is the 1988 Associated Press Massachusetts Broadcasters award for Best Sports Commentary for pieces he did for WAAF Worcester.

Steve is a graduate of Emerson College and lives in the Boston area with his wife, Diane.
